Jobs
Working or volunteering for CPRE may be one of the most challenging and fulfilling experiences you ever have.
You can contribute to protecting the countryside
Since its founding in 1926, CPRE has been driven by the passion and determination of its staff and volunteers. These are often people who have worked in other sectors (public and private) and who have come to realise the importance of protecting the countryside and the wider environment – and who say that working for CPRE fulfils a dream to do something positive in these spheres. They continue to build CPRE’s long-established reputation for professionalism and quality. They are the reason for our many lobbying and campaigning successes.
A supportive and challenging place to work
We try to encourage and offer a good work-life balance, training and flexible working conditions (where appropriate). The work can be challenging but we operate in teams for support, encouragement and creativity. We also strive to ensure our volunteers are matched for roles they would suit and enjoy best and are given training, guidance and support. Both staff and volunteers say they feel a sense of purpose working for CPRE, knowing they are protecting rural England for future generations.
