Marsh Awards 2013
The winners for the 2013 Marsh Awards for a Beautiful and Living Countryside have been chosen and will be announced at CPRE's AGM on 27 June 2013. If you'd like to make suggestions for someone or a group who we can acknowledge in 2014 please email the development team at our national office using the email address at the bottom of the page.
The Marsh Awards for a Beautiful and Living Countryside, in association with the Marsh Christian Trust, are awarded annually to celebrate the people whose dedication and enthusiasm make CPRE what it is.
The award categories are:
1. Countryside Champion(s) of the Year
2. Honorary Award for Outstanding Contribution to CPRE
3. Marsh Award for a Beautiful and Litter-free Countryside (CPRE)
4. Marsh Award for a Beautiful and Litter-free Countryside (Independent)
Winners each receive a prize of £500 (£1000 if our Countryside Champions of the Year winners are a group), and the awards are presented at our national AGM.
It doesn’t cost anything to nominate someone, and you can nominate as many individuals or groups as you like as long as the work done was ni a voluntary capacity. So let us know who the most inspirational, hard-working people are in your part of the country, and you may see them win this prestigious award. If they've been nominated before you can put them forward again and you can enter individuals in more than one category.
You can find moreinformation in the 2013 nomination form attached below. Nominations for the fourth category (non-CPRE litter groups) are done on a separate form - also attached. Details of previous Marsh Award winners can be found by clicking the links on the left and the 2013 winners' details will be published following the awards' presentation at the end of June.
