Help beef and sheep farmers get a fair deal
We are supporting a campaign by the National Farmers' Union: Why Beef and Sheep Farming Matters. The postcard campaign launched in November is urging stores to ensure that UK farmers receive a fair price for beef and sheep, without this much needed support the livelihood of farmers and the work they do in maintaining the character of the countryside could be at risk.

Other ways to help:

  • buying local beef and lamb;
  • asking your local supermarket what they are doing to contribute to a sustainable future for Britain’s beef and sheep farmers;
  • looking out for the Red Tractor logo or Quality Standard Mark when you are shopping;
  • telling your family and friends why beef and sheep farming matters and getting their support.
