What you can do

Write to your local authority
Ask your local authority to support our campaign if they haven’t already done so. Also let them know if there is a problem with advertising hoardings in your area.

Write a letter to the Government
Many people have already written in support of our campaign, and we could really use your help too.

In your letter you could welcome the Minister's initiative but urge that it must be followed up with the real action CPRE wants to see. You could point out that these measures will only work if the database includes information on sites as well as companies so that local authorities can take enforcement action more quickly, and that the revised guidance encourages local authorities and the Highways Agency to use the database. We also want the guidance to encourage local authorities to use Areas of Special Control.

Please let us know if you have sent a letter or an email
