A summary of why local authorities are struggling to deal with mobile phone network operators, and what we want to see done about it.

CPRE is concerned that the countryside is suffering unacceptably and unnecessarily as a result of the current policies for development of telecommunications masts. This briefing aims to give local people and communities the help needed to ensure that future telecommunications network development does not damage their environment, and to challenge environmentally damaging mast proposals.
