Planning campaign briefing 7 - Light Pollution

The statement on light pollution in the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) provides an opportunity for local authorities to use their planning policies and decisions to reduce light pollution. This planning campaign briefing shows how strong local campaigning can encourage your local authority to adopt policies to promote dark skies in the countryside. The briefing includes campaign tips and an analysis of law and policy changes introduced by the National Planning Policy Framework in March 2012.
