Vote for your favourite Icon of England

We are inviting you to take part in our online poll to decide the most iconic feature of England's landscape. Chose from a list of 'top 25 icons' and/or nominate your own icon.

The 'top 25 icons' have been selected by award winning authors, journalists, photographers and filmmakers including Alan Titchmarsh, Alice Temperley, Wendy Cope and Kevin Spacey. Their diverse nominations include Land's End, canal boating and post boxes. Their choice of icon, plus those of 45 other contributors, can been seen in our new book Icons of England.

Win a copy of Icons of Britain, signed by Bill Bryson
Those who take part in the online vote/nomination will be entered into a draw to win one of five copies of Icons of England. This 176-page book is a wonderful collection of inspiring essays and beautiful images. The five copies will be signed by Bill Bryson, CPRE President and contributor to the book. To be in with a chance you need to enter by Sunday 30 November 2008.
