In celebration of the tireless work undertaken by many individuals, groups and organisations across England to rid the countryside of litter, in 2013 CPRE will again be presenting a Marsh Award for a Beautiful and Litter-free Countryside.

Help us put an end to the bag monsters

Over 20 Bag Monsters created by CPRE and retailer Lush, from more than 10,000 single-use plastic bags, protested at the Conservative Party Conference.

We have teamed up with Keep Britain Tidy, the Marine Conservation Society and Surfers Against Sewage to call for the introduction of a charge for single use carrier bags in England.

The CPRE Ryedale branch and Pride in Pickering joined forces to produce a song to help children remember to stop littering. With the help of Scarborough Music Centre and the Easy band, they have produced a CD.
