Green shoots work scheme

Do you care about the environment and want to tackle climate change? Have you recently finished up at college and are thinking about what to do next? Have you decided to give university a miss –  or, if you do plan to go, would you rather take a year out before taking the plunge? Look no further!

Here at CPRE, the countryside charity, we campaign for the promotion, protection and enhancement of the countryside. To help us do this, we’ve launched a new Green shoots work scheme.

Our Green shoots work scheme consists of three fantastic roles:

Marketing Assistant (15 month Level 3 Apprenticeship) – £23,000 per year
Campaigns and Policy Assistant – External Affairs team (12-month fixed term contract) – £23,000 per year
Campaigns and Policy Assistant – Land Use and Planning team (12-month fixed term contract) – £23,000 per year

We place a high value on equality, diversity and inclusion – not only because it’s the right thing to do, but because we know that diverse teams make much better decisions and are more creative and stimulating to work in.

Young people with Black African or Black Caribbean heritage are underrepresented at CPRE and are particularly encouraged to apply. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

If you would like to put yourself forward, please read the job specifications, complete the application form and the equality and diversity form and return to us by midnight on Sunday 1 August 2021 at jobs@cpre.org.uk.

Interviews will be held in the second half of August and we’re looking forward to welcoming the successful candidates at CPRE in September 2021.

We hope you like the sound of the Green shoots work scheme and will take the time to apply!
