CPRE, the countryside charity, is looking for an ambitious, energetic and dedicated individual with administrative, relationship building and event management skills to help our team to grow high value income.
This is an exciting time to join CPRE, a small charity with a great heritage and big plans for our future. We have recently re-defined our organisational purpose and set a new, six-year strategy to take us to 2026, our centenary year. As a result, we now have ambitious plans to broaden our appeal and grow income, so that we can connect even more people with the countryside. Our renewed purpose has enabled us to make ambitious plans to tackle the climate emergency – a theme which now cuts across all of our work.
To help us achieve this we are looking for an ambitious, energetic and dedicated individual with a passion for developing engaging events and building strong relationships with high value supporters. We need someone with energy and aptitude for organising high quality, innovative donor events and a flair for writing. The new team member will play a key role within the team, providing administrative and project support to colleagues.
You’ll be an enthusiastic all-rounder: a good communicator who has a real affinity with the work we do and can help us to continue to build excellent relationships with our supporters. You’ll be adept at juggling several tasks simultaneously whilst having the ability to talk confidently via all communication channels.
This is the perfect job for someone who wants to learn more about major areas of fundraising. You will report directly to the head of high value relationships and be part of the wider High Value Relationships team, working closely with the trusts officer and legacy officer to support them in their work. You will also work alongside other members of the Engagement and Income department on a range of activities. Your role will be busy and varied – organising quality supporter events, updating donor pipeline and records, stewarding relationships from trusts and major donors, prospect researching, and general day-to-day administrative tasks for the team.
To apply, candidates should read the candidate information pack and job and person specification, then complete the application form (CVs will not be accepted). Please make sure you address the criteria outlined in the job and person specification; failing to do so will mean you will be unlikely to be shortlisted. Please send your completed application to firstname.lastname@example.org by the closing date.
CPRE is an equal opportunities employer.
