A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic fundraiser with Individual giving experience to join our charity at an exciting time.
This is an exciting time to join a small organisation with a great heritage and lots of potential. We have ambitious plans to broaden our appeal to reach new audiences, grow income and diversify our fundraising portfolio.
As one of two Individual giving officers within a small, experienced team, you’ll help to develop and deliver a varied direct marketing programme to generate income from individual supporters. As such, you can expect to be responsible for project managing activities across diverse income streams, including cash, digital, regular giving, membership and raffle. In this role you will also have opportunities to work closely with other team members to help maximise the fundraising potential of our community and mass-participation events.
Our ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to help us engage new supporters, as well as to steward and grow income from existing members, donors and e-activists. We’re looking for an enthusiastic all-rounder; someone with a real passion and aptitude for working with creative partners and colleagues to creating compelling and effective fundraising communications while also being confident in the more technical aspects of direct marketing: drafting data briefs, devising robust tests and analysing results.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a charity fundraising environment and a proven track record in project managing direct marketing activities across a variety of income streams and channels, including digital and social media. In line with our objectives, ideally your experience will include supporter acquisition as well as retention, with knowledge of new product/offer development and implementation of ‘test and learn’ programmes.
