CPRE Surrey at Box Hill
Across the downs and Weald.
On a gloriously sunny day in July, a group of CPRE Surrey members gathered at Box Hill for a guided walk around one of Surrey’s top beauty spots. Led by National Trust volunteer guides, we learned about the history, flora and fauna of Box Hill and the stunning chalk downland and box woodland of this part of the North Downs above the River Mole.
Our thanks to CPRE Surrey Trustees for organising this wonderful event which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part. More walks are planned in other parts of Surrey to come soon.
