Volunteering

You can help make difference in protecting the Cambridgeshire countryside. You don’t have to be a CPRE member to get involved.

There are lots of ways you can get involved:

  • Be aware of development in your area
We need people to keep an eye out for potential large-scale developments in their local area – those that would have a significant effect on the character of the local landscape. It may be as simple as keeping us informed of new developments. Our Eyes and ears scheme is a good way to do that.
  • Respond to or investigate planning applications
If you know about the planning process, you could help to assess local planning applications. If you don’t know how, we’d be happy to teach you.
  • Produce publicity
You could organise photo opportunities, create newsletters, website and campaign material for us.

As a volunteer, you can work flexibly, contributing as much or as little time as you are able to. We welcome your contribution.
