Take part in our local food challenge

Take up our 30:30 challenge and pledge to source 30% of your food from within 30 miles of where you live.

Local food is one of the things that makes England special. Our 30:30 challenge is a great opportunity for you to support your local economy and enjoy seasonal produce; to discover the best quality and freshest food around and the most distinctive varieties and tastes - and did you know that every £1 spent on local food generates £2.50 for the local economy?

We’ve found thousands of local food producers and suppliers around the country. And we’ve mapped some of these local food networks to show just how crucial local food is to the health of our high streets, local economies and our beautiful landscapes.

A 30:30 approach to eating is a chance to support your local food networks that are rich with variety and diversity – a chance we can all seize.

Please pledge to take our 30:30 challenge
