Our fantastic volunteers power our movement and make the countryside a better place to live, work and enjoy. Find out how you can get involved.

Help shape England's countryside. We're looking for visionary leaders to join our national CPRE board as Treasurer or Trustee.

Why volunteer with us?

Are you passionate about protecting and enhancing our countryside? Would you like to help bring about change in your community and have the chance to meet like-minded people along the way? By volunteering with a local CPRE you could do just this, whilst gaining a wealth of skills and undergoing all the appropriate training needed for you to make a real difference in your local area.

Our volunteers support us in many different ways including the leadership of local CPRE groups, fundraising, providing specialist advice, managing social media channels, maintaining websites, picking litter and much more!

We want you to have an excellent volunteering experience with us, and so we’ve made commitments to our volunteers.

Meet our volunteers

To celebrate Volunteers' Week, we asked some of our volunteers to share their inspiring stories with us. In this video, hear directly from them about what they enjoy most about their role and what volunteering with CPRE means to them.

We believe it's essential that young people feel empowered to take action on countryside issues like the climate emergency. Find our how CPRE's younger volunteers are making change.

If you’re a volunteer and would like to share your story with us, get in touch at volunteeringteam@cpre.org.uk
