Beverley Moore – 2026 Volunteer Awards

We are nominating Beverley due to the exceptional contribution that she has made to CPRE Cheshire. Whilst she joined us in 2023 as Newsletter Editor – a role she has subsequently undertaken with aplomb – Beverley has also provided invaluable help with a wide range of other work. For example, she has introduced a new system for email updates to our supporters, helped to manage our Hedgerow Heroes project in 2025/26, updated our privacy policy, and overseen the work of our young social media volunteers. She has also developed her interest in nature conservation, for example by liaising with the people working on the Local Nature Recovery Strategy, and takes a full and pro-active part in helping manage the branch.

Beverley has also played a key role in specific campaigns e.g. relating to the New Town proposals at Adlington (Cheshire East) and our efforts to get lorry trailer adverts alongside the M6 motorway removed. Of particular relevance in this Centenary year, she has also helped to get our Centenary Photo Competition up and running. She is also a source of calm, reliable advice which is particularly valuable in these busy times!
