The government published a draft National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) in 2025, and we think there are several proposed changes which could have a major impact on how the countryside is protected and managed. We’ve put together a guide which will help you respond to the consultation — and personalise your response too.
Planning consultations can be technical, so we’ve done most of the work for you, by highlighting the key areas of the consultation which we think will have the most impact on the countryside. This includes:
