Andrea Watwood – 2025 Volunteer Awards

Andrea chairs our Planning Sub Committee in Derbyshire very effectively, she recruits and trains our Planning Volunteers, acts as an excellent coach and mentor and ensures that we respond to the Planning Applications that we are interested in in a timely manner across the 8 district councils and the county council. She has also taken the lead on CPRE Derbyshire’s response to the National Grid’s proposed new pylons system between Chesterfield and Willington. She co-ordinates all these activities in a very professional manner.

Andrea is also a great support to our Chair, helping to cover our group’s activities – for example, chairing last year’s AGM and attending National Assembly Meetings.
