Jane Williams
Jane Williams is an outstanding lead fundraising volunteer for CPRE London. Since her arrival, two years ago, Jane has helped the charity bring in significant funds to support our ambitious Tree Ring Project as well as our core work to protect London’s Green Belt, parks, playing fields, nature reserves and other green spaces.
Jane’s strategic thinking and creative ideas have proved to be invaluable when drafting fundraising applications and designing match-funding appeals. She has also gone above and beyond the requirements of the role, volunteering extra hours to ensure we meet tight deadlines for fundraising applications. Jane is a brilliant multi-tasker, who can draft complex grant proposals within a short timeframe, while aways remaining a calm, positive and helpful presence in our busy London office.
Jane is also a highly effective manager, who motivates and supports our fundraising volunteers and mentors less experienced members of the team. She chairs our fortnightly fundraising meetings expertly and always ensures senior members of staff and Trustees are kept up date about the progress of grant applications. Jane is a valued and highly respected member of the CPRE London team and we are very lucky to benefit from her skills and expertise.
