Discover the countryside: Gloucestershire
TRAIL: Walk the Centenary Way
Created to mark CPRE’s 100th year, the Centenary Way is a new walking route showcasing some of Gloucestershire’s most beautiful countryside.
The route passes through valleys, flower-rich grasslands and ancient woodland, taking in traditional Cotswold villages and views across countryside CPRE has worked to protect for the past century.
Along the way, walkers can discover historic churches, including Norman and Saxon heritage sites, and see newly planted hedgerows helping nature recover.
Whether you’re a regular rambler or a first-time explorer, the Centenary Way offers the chance to get outdoors and love your countryside.
