Dr John Kay – 2024 Trustee Awards

Dr John Kay is a 2024 CPRE Trustee Award winner, nominated by CPRE Sussex in recognition of his long service, dedication to good planning, provision of affordable local homes and commitment to protecting the countryside and rural communities. Find out more about why John was nominated here.

‘John has volunteered with CPRE Sussex as a Trustee since 2009 and continues to lead the Lewes District Group on planning matters. After such a long period of service, John retired as Trustee this year. He also serves as a Parish Councillor, Community Land Trust board member, volunteers for Citizens Advice and is trustee of local charities providing affordable rented housing for local young families. John is also a keen historian.’
