Noël Lambert

Noël Lambert is Community & Content Lead and a founding Director of the Big Solar Co-op, a nationwide not-for-profit cooperative developing ethical, community-owned solar projects. Over the past six years, she has helped promote scalable community solar solutions enabling organisations and communities to participate directly in the transition to clean energy. 

With a background in community engagement, sustainability communications and cooperative development, Noël combines technical understanding with a strong focus on public participation and environmental impact. She is also a Director of Community Energy England and a mentor on REGEN’s ReWiRE programme, supporting women in renewable energy. 

Based in Shropshire, Noël has a keen interest in permaculture, social justice, local sustainability and gift economy systems, bringing practical experience of community-led climate action to the judging panel.
