Autumn Conference 2016

Thursday 3 November 2016

The Studio, Birmingham, B2 5EP

CPRE’s 2016 Autumn Conference, Thursday 3 November

We are excited to announce that our national Autumn Conference will be taking place on Thursday 3 November, 10.30am – 5pm. The positive feedback we received last year about the location and setting of the venue – as well as the excellent food! - means that we will be returning to The Studio, 7 Canon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EP.

The Autumn Conference is an important opportunity for volunteers and staff throughout CPRE to come together to discuss key issues for the organisation as a whole. It provides a forum for us to share information and ideas with each other, and to ensure that all parts of the organisation can contribute to decisions about the future of both rural England and CPRE. It’s also a fantastic chance to meet colleagues and peers from all over the country. This year the main focus for our Autumn Conference will be:

Understanding our campaign priorities for the next three years and how we can work together to achieve them;
Understanding the key strategic issues that we need to tackle and agreeing how we should try to do so;
Agreeing how we can capitalise on the best opportunities that have been identified.

We won’t know the agenda for the day until well into the summer – so please bear with us. We are still able to offer three places per Branch and two per Region, and, like last year, it would be wonderful to have a good spread of representatives from each branch – from volunteers, to executive members and staff. We hope the Autumn Conference will be a more collaborative, focussed and direction-setting event than ever before and will enable us to achieve much more co-ordination and synergy in our plans for the next three years.
