New National Planning Practice Guidance: implications for CPRE and the countryside

This seminar will cover the legal and policy implications of the newly published Planning Practice Guidance, and how it affects our work locally. Speakers will include both CPRE national office planning staff and external experts. We will also consider what CPRE should call for on planning and housing for our work in the run up to the General Election in May 2015.


HS2 branch seminar

Tuesday 13 May 2014, 11am – 4pm

Best Western Banbury House Hotel, Oxford Road, Banbury

This seminar is for CPRE branches affected by High Speed 2 (HS2). It will discuss CPRE’s petitioning on HS2 hybrid bills and wider engagement with HS2 Ltd and the Department for Transport.


Annual General Meeting 2014

Thursday 26 June 2014, 11am-4pm

Charles Darwin House, 12 Roger Street, London, WC1N 2JU

This year our Annual General Meeting will be held at a new venue. The Voting Members will be electing a new Chair and Treasurer, as well as conducting the normal business of the day.  The afternoon session will feature a mix of events – the presentation of the CPRE Awards, followed by a mystery event and culminating in the President’s speech.
