Network Assembly Coordinator (National CPRE)

Closing date: Monday 13 March 2023
An informal interview will take place either online or atour office in London.
Salary: This is a volunteer role, out of pocket expenses will be paid

We’re looking for a volunteer with strong administrative and organisational skills to work with and support the Assembly Chair with the effective management and operation of the Assembly. This is a new role and whoever takes it on will have a significant opportunity to shape the scope of the role and how it’s carried out.

The Assembly meets four times a year. Two meetings are hybrid (in person and online) and two online only. It’s expected that the role will require a commitment of 2-3 hours per week, with the weeks leading up to, and following, the Assembly meetings being the busiest.
CPRE is England’s countryside charity and we believe the countryside is for everyone and that a thriving, beautiful countryside rich in nature plays a crucial role in the nation’s response to unbridled development and the climate emergency.

CPRE is a network of 42 charities combining equally-valued national influence with local activism. We work hard to enhance, promote, and protect the countryside, including the communities within it.

CPRE has recently established a Network Assembly to provide a means for the Chairs of all 42 national and local CPREs to come together to consider matters of interest to the CPRE network including policy priorities, major campaigns, membership, and fundraising, Shape, influence and advise what happens within CPRE, nationally and locally

The Network Assembly provides the opportunity for all CPREs to work together effectively to fulfil our charitable objectives and deliver our strategy.

As someone with good organisational and administrative skills combined with tact, diplomacy, and an ability to build good relationships, you will be making a significant contribution to the successful working of the Network Assembly
