Ryan Morgan – 2024 Trustee Awards
Ryan Morgan is a 2024 CPRE Trustee Award winner, nominated for his leadership and successful delivery of the inaugural Derbyshire Living Countryside Awards. Find out more about why he was nominated here.
‘Ryan is a new Trustee to CPRE Derbyshire. He works in the charity sector and wanted to broaden his experience by being involved as a Trustee on the Board of the charity. He has taken on the Planning Volunteer role for Amber Valley, where he lives, and has been actively reviewing planning applications and raising objections against major developments threatening the countryside including large solar farms and National Grid’s new Pylon Scheme.’
‘Ryan has also led our inaugural Derbyshire Living Countryside Awards which have been very successful. He obtained a partner in DALC (Derbyshire Association of Local Councils) to help us promote and judge the entries, he promoted the awards on social media and through like-minded organisations, managed the programme, handed certificates and awards to winners and runners up, and has written the piece for promotion on our website / scheduled our social media posts announcing the award winners. CPRE Derbyshire Committee fully endorse putting Ryan forward for the New Trustee award.’
