Tony Burton CBE – 2023 Trustee Awards

‘Reaching the end of his term next spring, Tony’s departure will be a huge loss for the CPRE London team. He has been an absolutely outstanding Chair since 2019, with his deep knowledge of planning policy, combined with his extensive experience of chairing organisations. His fantastic guidance and support is massively appreciated by us all, particularly as the charity gears up to further expand its influence and capacity to deliver pioneering work. This project would see the creation of a tree ring community forest around the capital, actively working with community groups to support the creation of ten major new parks and helping to grow and strengthen the London Friends of Greenspace Network.’
