My name is Annie.

I llive in a beautiful rural hamlet in Northumberland.

I’ve lived here for 10 years.

I feel proud to call this place home.

But there are no longer any bus services out here.

My elderly neighbour has always been the heart of this community.

But if you can’t drive or cycle you can easily end up housebound.

At 80 years old how can you make a three-hour trip on foot to buy milk, visit your doctor, catch up with old friends?

In these difficult times a local bus service is a way out of isolation.

That’s what we all deserve.
