CPRE response to Introducing a DRS consultation, 2021
This is CPRE’s response to the second consultation on implementing a Deposit Return Scheme for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The main issues raised include the need for an all-in system, which would cover drinks containers of all sizes and materials, and pushing back on the implementation date of 2024 which reflects a considerable delay. The consultation ran from March to June 2021.
