Response to Defra’s consultation on Introducing a Deposit Return Scheme
CPRE’s submission of evidence on the consultation on introducing a Deposit Return System. CPRE has campaigned for a UK-wide deposit return system (DRS) since 2008, as part of our work to promote systemic solutions to litter and pollution in the countryside. As part of this work over the past 10 years we have amassed knowledge, evidence and contacts to inform our policy position, which you can read in this consultation document.
