Nominations Committee – Recruitment of Member

There is one vacancy on the Nominations Committee for a current or former branch or regional Chair. The closing date is Monday 9 April.

1. If you are a current or former branch or regional Chair, and would be interested in scrutinising prospective candidates for the national Trustee Board, we’d like to hear from you.

2. You should be should be knowledgeable about the aims and purposes of CPRE. Relevant experience of senior level selection is desirable, as is a commitment to best practice in recruitment and selection, and to processes which are fair, open and transparent. Candidates should also have a broad experience of good governance and the duties and responsibilities of trustees and company directors.

3. Candidates for the Nominations Committee must be nominated by a Voting Member (i.e. the Chair of a branch or region, or a national trustee).

4. The committee shortlists and interviews Trustee Board candidates, and recommends candidates to the board.

5. Current members of the committee are Isabella Stone (Chair), Marion Temple, Su Sayer and Martin Crookston.

6. Isabella and Marion were both elected at the AGM, and candidates for this role would stand for election at the next AGM on 28 June 2018.

7. Su and Martin represent the Trustee Board on the committee.
